VIP Armed Close Protection: To ensure the safety of a VIP, an agent must always be "on", aware of his surroundings and able to identify even the slightest nuance that might identify a threat. The agents in charge of VIP protection at Israeli Protective Service have been trained in close protection by members of Israel's General Security Service, the same people responsible for the close protection of Israeli government ministers.
